Favourite Guitars and Gadgets
Personally Fender Stratocasters have been my favorite. I like the versatility of Stratocasters. They also have proved to be the base to any guitar and also have been used to play wide genres of music.
The likes of Hendrix , Clapton and SRV it has always proved itself from the day it was manufactured.
Hereby, I would like to know more about Stratocasters and the wise tricks to make it more interesting.
And also , Please let us know your favourite gadgets and guitars.

My favorite is a Telecaster. I think it covers the versatility ground more than any other guitars. I never thought much about them, dissing them off as a country music guitar but BOY was I wrong!
Ever since I played a 52 Reissue Tele I’ve been hooked! It’s practically become my no.1. I play it more over my other guitars (AV57RI Strat/Gibson 61RI SG). It does anything from country chickenpickin’, Rockabilly, Psychedelia, Jazzy Blues/Bluesy Jazz, Rock n Roll to all out Tom Morello RATM and did you know that the lead guitar on Stairway to Heaven is not on a Les Paul but a Tele???
Ever since I’ve gotten into the Tele I’ve been acquainted to a host of great underrated pickers like Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, Steve Cropper, Bill Kirchen, Albert Collins, Redd Volkaert, Robbie Mcintosh and others…Every guitar players should listen to their music to appreciate the tonal diversity and versatility of a Telecaster…the first mass produced guitar in the world…the first baby of Leo Fender…simplicity and functionality at its best!
I’m not dissing Strats or any other guitars, just stating that the two are like apples and oranges…and Oh yeah! The Tele is one helluva a Blues guitar too!
If you can’t say it on a Tele, it probably does not need to be said! TWANG!
